Kathryn Bennett Race Course
Kent Lake is a 1,200-acre lake surrounded by wooded hilly terrain within Kensington Metropark and is home to the Kathryn Bennett Race Course (KBRC) and the Midwest Scholastic Rowing Association Championship Regatta. Race logistics are staged from Maple Beach located at 4570 Huron River Parkway, Milford, MI 49381.
The KBRC is a 1500 meter fully-buoyed 8 lane course developed by Washtenaw Rowing Center (Ann Arbor, MI).
Support for the Championship Regatta is provided by Skyline High School Crew, Northville High School Crew, and the volunteer efforts of MSRA member organizations.
Kensington Metropark Maps & Information
There is $10 per vehicle per day entry fee paid directly to Huron-Clinton Metroparks. If your team participates in row-outs on Friday, we recommend notifying families of the $30 park entrance fee for the three-day Championship Regatta.
If your team plans to attend any other races at Kensington Metropark throughout the calendar year, we recommend purchasing the annual park pass to save time coming into the park each morning.
The park has multiple access points and signs that will help direct you to Maple Beach.
